The Process
First step of the process is to trust the process.
How do I start and secure my project?
All proposals are valid for 7 days. Your project slot is confirmed only once the first 50% payment is received. Until then, availability cannot be guaranteed. Projects begin after approval and upfront payment. The remaining 50% is invoiced either: After the presentation of three design options (First Milestone), before further development continues, or After final approval, before delivery of final files, as specified in the proposal. Accepted payment methods: Credit card via Stripe (3% processing fee applies) Bank transfer to a European bank account Companies outside France may qualify for VAT exemption (valid VAT ID or company registration details required).
What is the typical project timeline?
Initial design presentation: delivered within 4 weeks of project approval Each revision round: addressed within 2 weeks If feedback is not provided within 2 weeks after a presentation, scheduling may shift based on other active projects. If a project remains inactive for more than 4 weeks, timeline and budget must be renegotiated. Availability should always be confirmed before booking.
What are my responsibilities as a client?
To ensure a smooth process, you agree to provide: Completed questionnaire, Brand content and required materials, Dielines (if applicable), Timely and consolidated feedback, Delays in providing materials or approvals may result in timeline extensions. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope are billed at $150/hour. Any work outside the original scope will be quoted separately and must be approved before execution.
Who owns the final design and intellectual property?
Once final payment is completed: Full commercial and intellectual property rights of the approved final design are transferred to you. The Designer will not create similar designs for other clients. Non-selected concepts remain the property of the Designer and may not be used. If final payment is not completed, legal rights to use the work are not granted. Unauthorized use may result in legal action. The Designer retains the right to showcase the project in a portfolio or marketing materials unless restricted by a signed NDA.
What files will I receive?
Final files are delivered in standard formats such as: PNG, JPG, PDF, Vector formats (when applicable), Editable source files may be provided upon request and may require an additional fee.
What happens in case of cancellation, disputes, or unforeseen circumstances?
If the Client cancels the project after the design options presentation: The first payment is non-refundable The remaining balance will not be invoiced Both parties agree to keep project discussions confidential unless otherwise agreed in writing. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution amicably first. If legal action is required, it will be handled in the jurisdiction where the Designer is registered. The Designer is not liable for delays caused by force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, serious illness, internet outages). Timelines may be adjusted accordingly.
